About The Crusaders RFC
The Crusaders RFC is a unique rugby club for players and ex-players all over the world that have either had Cancer themselves or had a family member that has.
We have players that have had cancer that help players with cancer, guys with testicular and prostate cancer for instance that tell guys that have just been diagnosed what to expect. It's good to know that on the end of the phone or over a beer there is someone who has been in the same situation as you, knows how you feel and what you're thinking.
Then there's the guys that have lost loved ones or have loved ones with cancer that support each other.
Each one of us with an experience of our own, the truth is YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Rugby is the one thing that brings us all together, it has been our bond for many years and always will be.
You are never too old or to knackered to play, you just think you are!!!

We play Vet's Rugby and Golden Oldies to raise awareness of male Cancer within the rugby community and to support fellow rugby players that need help in their time of need.
Quite simply men are dying from their own ignorance and are scared to get help even when they know that they have a problem, pretending instead to bury their head in the sand like an Ostrich and hope it will go away.
Prostate, Testicular, Bowel, whatever the Cancer many lives could be saved if only more men knew the basic symptoms and were encouraged to seek medical advice at the earliest opportunity.

The other amazing thing about The Crusaders RFC is that we have members and players from countries all over the world, and you would be surprised at the amount of following and encouragement we get from within the rugby community. The Crusaders are probably the worlds first global rugby team.
